Geoffrey Anderson M.D. Ph.D. is Professor in the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, where he holds the Chair in Health Management Strategies. He is an Adjunct Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES) and the Women’s College Hospital Research Institute and is cross-appointed to the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Anderson is a health services researcher whose work has been funded by granting agencies in Canada and the United States.  He has published extensively in scholarly journals on issues of health system performance and drug safety.  He has served on advisory committees to federal and provincial governments in Canada. Currently he is working on an international collaborative effort to bring researchers and policy makers together to better understand and improve health and social care for older people with complex needs.
