Webinar

The purpose of the webinar is to provide an update on the Study. This includes the release of a new working paper, The Power and Promise of Early Learning, and a summary of the findings from the Field Test.

26-27 March

OECD Conference Centre, Paris

The meeting was an opportunity for the Study participants to discuss the findings from the Field Test. Participants shared their experiences of the Field Test and considered the upcoming preparations for the Main Study.

OECD Conference Centre, Paris

The meeting provided an update on the progress of the Study, including the Field Test, which was carried out during November and December 2017. The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss preparations for the main Study and communication material relating to the Study.

The purpose of this meeting was to provide countries with an update on the Study’s progress. The meeting was also an opportunity to better understand, discuss and give input to key elements of the Study.

2016

The primary objective of the meeting was to introduce countries to the International Contractor that will undertake the Study and provide countries with further information on the shape of the Study and the timing of key stages and milestones.

12-13 April

OECD Conference Centre, Paris

The primary objective of the meeting was to gain further input from countries on key aspects of the Study. This input has provided guidance to the OECD for negotiating and finalising a contract with an International Contractor to design, develop and implement the pilot Study.

The key objectives of the meeting were to provide direction to the OECD Secretariat on the details of the call-for-tender to design, develop and pilot the Study; to outline the likely timeline for the Study; the process and criteria for selecting a contractor; governance arrangements and a funding formula for per-country contributions.

8-9 July

OECD Conference Centre, Paris

The primary objective of the meeting was to engage countries in the project and elicit their objectives, priorities and preferences. The meeting gained direction from countries to develop draft terms of reference for a call-for-tender.
