Between late 2008 and 2010, the Government of Mexico and the OECD had a Co-operation Agreement for Improving Basic Education in Mexican Schools. This two-year project focused on providing analysis, recommendations and communications and capacity building for effective policy reforms in the areas of teacher policy and school management and leadership.

Improving Schools: Strategies for Action in Mexico  (publication)

This report is about supporting better student achievement in Mexico by making schools the centre of education policy and focusing on raising teacher quality, school management and school leadership.
