This Self-evaluation report reflects the joint effort of higher education institutions (HEI) and regional stakeholders in the Bío Bío Region, Chile to assess the impact that the HEI have had on regional development. The self-evaluation was performed between December 2008 and June 2009.
Labour market outcomes have improved markedly in the past years as the beneficial effects of the economic upswing were reinforced by important structural reforms.
These articles have been published in the journal of the OECD Centre for Effective Learning Environments (CELE). Prior to 2009, the journal was called “PEB Exchange”.
