Education at a Glance: OECD Indicators is the authoritative source for accurate information on the state of education around the world. It provides data on the output of educational institutions; the impact of learning across countries; the financial and human resources invested in education; access, participation and progression in education; and the learning environment and organisation of schools.

The 2015 edition introduces more detailed analysis of participation in early childhood and tertiary levels of education. The report also examines first generation tertiary-educated adults’ educational and social mobility, labour market outcomes for recent graduates, and participation in employer-sponsored formal and/or non-formal education. Readiness to use information and communication technology for problem solving in teaching and learning is also examined. The publication provides indicators on the impact of skills on employment and earnings, gender differences in education and employment, and teacher and school leader appraisal systems. For the first time, this edition includes highlights of each indicator inside the book. The report covers all 34 OECD countries and a number of partner countries (Argentina, Brazil, China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Latvia, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia and South Africa, and for the first time, Costa Rica and Lithuania).

The Excel™ spreadsheets used to create the tables and charts in Education at a Glance are available via the StatLinks provided throughout the publication.

Education at a Glance results from a long-standing, collaborative effort between OECD governments, the experts and institutions working within the framework of the OECD Indicators of Education Systems (INES) programme and the OECD Secretariat.

Education indicators in focus - Monthly briefs that highlight specific subjects in OECD’s Education at a Glance.  They provide a detailed look into current issues from a global perspective. Each four-page issue contains an engaging mix of text, tables and charts that describe the international context of the most pressing questions in education policy and practice.

Education at a Glance Subnational Supplement.  A supplement to Education at a Glance 2015 that provides select sub-national data for six indicators of the current edition. These include data on educational attainment by selected age groups (Indicator A1), employment rates by educational attainment (Indicator A5), annual expenditure per student (Indicator B1), enrolment rates by age (Indicator C1), enrolment rates in early childhood and primary education (Indicator C2), and enrolment rates and work status of 15-29 year-olds (Indicator C5).

The Education at a Glance Interim Report:  Update of Employment and Educational Attainment indicators. This publication is based on the latest data collection from the INES Network on Labour Market, Economic and Social Outcomes of Learning (LSO), collected in the first half of 2014. It is an update of the series published in Education at a Glance 2014: OECD Indicators, released in September 2014.
