Lucie Cerna is an Analyst in the Directorate for Education and Skills of the OECD. She currently works on the Governing Complex Education Systems project at CERI.
Prior to joining the OECD, Lucie has been a Lecturer in Politics at Merton College, University of Oxford, and an Assistant Professor in Political Economy at Leiden University College, Netherlands. She holds a BA in Foreign Languages/International Affairs from the University of Puget Sound, USA, a MSc in European Politics from LSE, an MBA from Saarland University, Germany, and a DPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford. Lucie has been a consultant for several international organizations such as the ILO and the IOM. Her research interests include the governance of education, high-skilled labour migration, the internationalisation of higher education, European Union policy-making, and global governance.
