Roles and responsibilities

The Educational Facilities Research & Management Center (EDUMAC) is an international research institute under the umbrella of the Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI) which provides support and implementation guidance for school facilities projects for all school levels from primary to tertiary education. EDUMAC strives to provide quality educational facilities for both publicly-funded schools and in schools constructed through public-private-partnerships (PPPs). EDUMAC promotes the PPP facilities freely accessible to the general public. In addition, the Centre seeks to improve and globalise school facilities by organising forums on and cooperating with international institutions to develop new agendas and stimulate public discussions around the construction and use of educational facilities. KEDI's activities, research and projects are supported by extensive field-based research.
