A new addition to Ravenswood School for Girls received top honours at this year’s NSW Architecture Awards: the Sir John Sulman Medal for Public Architecture, which this year celebrated its 80th anniversary. This stunning addition was acclaimed by the jury for “… its elegant planning, the sheer delight of the library space, and strong sculptural presence … [it] expresses the aspirations of a community…”.
The building was awarded the state’s most prestigious architecture honour for advancing the relationship between education environments and contemporary learning.
