ICEMAREY is a decentralised public organism with the mission of “being a pioneer and trustful organism in the construction, equipment, maintenance and rehabilitation of the public educational infrastructure.
This project, supported by 12 countries, aims to explore the causal links between education and major social domains such as health (mental and physical) and civic engagement.

The educational systems of OECD economies continue to grow and with this the total amount of resources dedicated to the total learning effort is reaching unprecedented levels. Are the resources organised and used in a way that fulfills what society intends educational systems to achieve? This U.K. summit explored trends in teaching and learning and how these are supported by the design of learning environments. Themes included sustainability, ICT, community usage, small schools and refurbishment. The PEB Compendium was launched.
This publication reveals a number of interesting examples of innovative programmes using ICT that can increase access to learning by the disadvantaged. The papers show that ICT can be one way -- but by no means the only way -- to improve pathways to learning.
