Former Meetings of the Latin American Corporate Governance Roundtable and Companies Circle

Previous Meetings:

  • The 2006 meeting of the Latin American Corporate Governance Roundtable took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 22-23 June 2006 focusing on issues including the role of institutional investors, recent corporate governance initiatives by stock exchanges, and corporate governance of non-listed companies. The meeting was held back-to-back with a meeting of the Roundtable's Companies Circle, which held a special dialogue with institutional investors.
  • The Companies Circle held its second meeting on 22 November 2005 in São Paolo, Brazil, to launch the publication of eight company case studies on their experience with and the impact of their corporate governance reforms.
  • On 10 May 2005 in São Paulo, Brazil, the Roundtable launched a new Companies Circle. This is an initiative led by companies who have adopted best practices of corporate governance.
