Working Group on Investment Policy and Promotion meets in Paris

Paris, 23 March 2009


The Working Group on Investment Policy and Promotion met on 23 March 2009 at the OECD headquarters in Paris.

The meeting focused on:

  • examining the effects of the global economic and financial crisis on investment in the MENA region
  • assessing investment-related policy responses to the crisis by governments
  • considering a draft stocktaking paper of good practices for economic zone development in the MENA region
  • and reviewing a draft programme for working group  in 2009/10
