Kyung Suk Chang

Consultant

Kyung Suk Chang is has joined CERI as a consultant to the project Globalisation and Linguistic Competences, reviewing the Korean foreign language policies from the historical, political, socio-economic, cultural and educational perspectives. Until recently she has shared her research experience through reports, articles, books and other forms of publication.
Kyung Suk Chang holds a Ph.D. degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Manchester University (UK), an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from University of East Anglia (UK) and an M.A. in Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) from York University (UK). She had several years of teaching experience at universities as well as secondary schools. She has been a senior researcher at KICE (Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE) since 2002. Prior to joining CERI, she headed ELT projects in collaboration with the Korean government and the British Council in Korea.
