Tom Schuller

He also has specific responsibility for the activity on Measuring the Social Outcomes of Learning.  The project looks into the complex issue of how learning affects social outcomes, and specifically health and civic participation.

Tom Schuller has an MA from Oxford University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from London University and a Dr Phil from University of Bremen. Formerly Dean of the Faculty of Continuing Education and Professor of Lifelong Learning at Birkbeck, University of London from 1999 to 2003, he has worked also at the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Warwick, at the Institute for Community Studies and for four years at OECD in the 1970s.
