Jean Pierre Garson, aged 62, is currently Head of the Non-Member Economies and International Migration Division in the Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs, at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), based in Paris. A Professor of Economics, Mr. Garson worked at the University of Paris XI before joining the OECD in late 1988.
Mr. Garson is responsible for the publication of the OECD Annual Report International Migration Outlook (former Trends in International Migration) and other OECD publications related to international migration. He is also in charge of issues concerning employment and social policies in non-member economies.
