11/09/2007 - The 2007 edition of the OECD’s annual Education at a Glance, a compendium of comparable national statistics that provide a basis for policy debate and decisions, will be published at 11.00 a.m. Paris time on Tuesday 18 September 2007.
Education at a Glance 2007 analyses the impact on labour market returns of the massive expansion of education in OECD countries, particularly at the tertiary level. It looks at whether the increasing supply of well-educated labour has been matched by the creation of an equivalent number of high-paying jobs.

Tokyo - Tuesday 18 September at 3.00 p.m. local time - videoconference media briefing by the main author of the report, Andreas Schleicher, Head of the OECD's Educational Statistics and Analysis Division.
