During his official visit to Estonia, Secretary-General Angel Gurría met with:

Mr. Juhan Parts, Minister of Economic Affairs and telecommunications
Mr. Urmas Paet, Minister of Foreign Affairs
Mr. Ivari Padar, Minister of Finance
Ms. Ene Ergma, President of the Parliament
Mr. Urmas Klaas, Chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee
Mr. Mart Laanemäe, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affais, head of the accession delegation
Professor Peep Sürje, Rector of Tallin University of Technology
Mr. Andres Lipstok, President of the Bank of Estonia

The main themes of the discussions were Estonia as a candidate country for accession to the OECD, and the Estonian economic situation and challenges ahead. In addition to these bilateral meetings, Mr Gurría held a joint press conference with the Prime Minister. He also gave a public lecture at the Tallinn University of Technology.
