A series of online tools are being put in place by the OECD to allow all stakeholders to participate in and contribute to the process leading up to the 2008 Ministerial on the Future of the Internet Economy. This page lists the different means to contribute to the OECD-Canada Technology Foresight Forum on the Participative Web, and tools that are being implemented to allow online participation in the process towards the 2008 Ministerial meeting.
Civil society page
The website has a page dedicated to civil society. Interested parties can submit links documents, position papers and other documents for the Technology Foresight Forum. They will be posted on this page.
Pre-recorded video messages
Speakers, civil society or other participants can self-record a 2-6 minute video which relates to one of the Foresight Forum topics or the Foresight Forum theme altogether. These videos will be embedded as actual video window onto our webpage.

Audio questions
The organisers allow for civil society and others to post audio questions/messages before 3 October 2007 which could be read out or played during the meeting: OECD created a address: oecd.canada.participate which hosts an active answering machine to record questions. The organisers will select a number of them and the chair/moderator will use them during the meeting.
Text questions
The organisers allow Internet users to post text messages and questions before or during the meeting which could be read out and/or posted on the Internet. The email address is: participativeweb @ oecd.org.
Live conference blogs
There will be 1-2 official event bloggers who will blog about the event during the meeting (tag: oecdwebforum2007). One will be a representative from civil society (ICANN) and one will be from Canada.
Webcast of the event (live and archive)
There will be a live webcast and a transcript of the event.
Speaker presentations
The site will host the presentations of speakers and a transcript of their main remarks.
Contact point: Parties interested in submitting elements as suggested above can contact participativeweb @ oecd.org.
