Outcomes of the Meeting of the Environment Policy Committee at Ministerial Level, 20-21 April 2004
|
The meeting of OECD Environment Ministers and partners was a timely opportunity to take stock of implementation of the OECD Environmental Strategy, to share experiences with the design of efficient and effective environmental policies and how to overcome some of the challenges to better policy integration and subsidy reform, and to highlight the role of partnerships in a globalising world. Ministers adopted a Statement outlining priorities for Further Work at the OECD on Sustainable Development, and endorsed 3 OECD Council Acts to support environmental policy design and monitoring.
