To celebrate the OECD's 50th Anniversary, young people worldwide were invited to create a short video describing their vision of Progress.

 

Watch the shortlist of 20 videos selected by our jury.

 

The Prize

  • An all expenses paid trip to Paris, France
  • Screening of the winning films at an international forum.
  • An opportunity to meet government, civil society and media from around the world.

The winners were invited to the OECD Forum in May 2011, with travel cost, hotel accommodation and daily allowance provided for five days.

 

Timeline

  • Competition opened on 1 Dec 2010.
  • Competition closed at midnight (Paris time) on 1 March 2011.
  • Shortlist: A special Jury compiled a shortlist of 20 videos, judged on the basis of creativity, substance, production value and overall impact. The 20 shortlisted videos were announced and showcased on this website on 21 March, 2011.
  • Public vote: From 22 March to 14 April, 2011 the public voted on the shortlisted videos. The 3 videos with the most votes were selected as the winners.
  • Winners were announced on Friday 15 April, 2011.
