During his official visit to Chile, Secretary-General Angel Gurría met with:

Mr. Alejandro FOXLEY, Minister of Foreign Affairs
Mr. Andrés VELASCO, Minister of Finance
Mrs. Claudia SERRANO, Vice-Minister of the Interior
Mr. Vittorio CORBO LIOI, Chairman of the Board, Central Bank of Chile

Mr. Gurría presented the OECD's first Latin American Economic Outlook at a launch event including panel sessions to discuss the reform agenda in the region and the contribution of business to development in Latin America (read his speech).

He also launched the OECD Innovation Policy Review of Chile (read his speech).

Mr. Gurría gave a keynote speech on the impact of China and India on challenges and opportunities in Latin America at a meeting of Iberoamerican enterprises, and participated in the 17th Iberoamerican Summit.
