OECD has a variety of standing order plans to simplify librarian’s work when it comes to ordering print materials. Although SourceOECD plans offer the same print publications PLUS online access for about the same amount of money and a preset price each year, the print-only options listed below are still available.
Under our General Standing Order Plan (GSO), libraries are shipped one copy of each book as published. Books are invoiced at the end of each month for the books shipped during that month. In 2006, 199 books were sent out under the GSO with a value of €11,706.
Under our Thematic Standing Order Plan, librarians can opt to receive books under the subject categories they select. As with the GSO, books shipped during any month are invoiced at the end of the month. The following subject categories are available. When a book falls into more than one subject category, only one copy is shipped. Numbers in parentheses indicate number of titles published in this category in 2006 and value in 2006.

Standing Orders are available for many Annual or Intermittent Publications. In cases where the publication is statistical, one can choose to order the book or the statistical database on CD-ROM. If online access is desired to an annual database, one must subscribe to access via SourceOECD. See Statistical Databases for more information on databases. Many OECD publications are part of a Series. Customers can enter a standing order for future books in the series. Standing orders can be established for items in the Series Listing on the OECD Online Bookshop.
