This publication provides detailed information on individual commitments, i.e. intended disbursements, of Official Development Assistance (ODA) targeting the objectives of the Rio Conventions - the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, and the UN Convention on Biological Diversity - for the years 1998-2000.
This information was obtained from Members of the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) through a special data collection within the Creditor Reporting System (CRS). This special edition records the activities reported, and provides an analysis of the data collected.
Data presented are unique, comparable and consistent with definitions and methodologies of the DAC statistics. For each developing country, transactions are ordered by commitment year and sector, and within each sector, by donor.
