Biography

Patrizia Labella is a Policy Analyst and Outreach Coordinator for the Business for Development unit. Prior to joining the Development Centre in June 2006, Patrizia was at the Italian Ministry of the Economy and Finance where she worked on bilateral development co-operation. Patrizia also has experience from the private sector, having worked for four years at a management consulting firm – Accenture, specialising on market research for the Oil and Gas Industry. Her experience in this sector started at the World Bank. Throughout her career, Patrizia has also done volunteer work in Chang Mai, Thailand where she focused on fund raising and granting microcredit to people affected by the HIV/AIDS virus. She also implemented capacity building workshops for regufees from Burma.
Patrizia holds a B.A. in Political Science from the Honors College of the University of Houston, and a M.A. in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C.
