Department background / Présentation

SECO's Economic Development Cooperation Division is the Swiss government's competence center for sustainable economic development and the integration of developing and transition countries into the global economy. Economic cooperation plays a central role in trade and investment promotion and makes a key contribution towards creating an environment that provides favourable framework conditions for economic growth and private initiative.

Son but central est la lutte contre la pauvreté.
