STAN Bilateral Trade Database (STAN BTD)

shows detailed trade flows by manufacturing industry from one country (or geographical area) to another. For each declaring country, exports of goods to and imports of goods from corresponding partner countries are supplied for the years 1988-2001. The data have been converted from the OECD’s product-based International Trade by Commodities Statistics (ITCS) using a standard conversion key and are presented in thousands of US dollars at current prices.

The STAN Industry, R&D and Indicators data sets are presented in a query-based tool, Beyond 2020 for Windows, which allows users to extract and export data, prepare customised graphs and tables and perform simple analyses. All data sets are available as sets of Excel tables, and the complete STAN industry data set is also available in a single ASCII file for simplified loading into local analytical and statistical database systems.
