‘Tools to Support Vocational Education and Training Systems’ aims to discuss ways to improve VET systems in the countries of the region. It is part of a series of seminars which will contribute to a wider OECD publication on competitiveness in Central Asia at the end of 2012.
This seminar has been provided with the financial sponsorship of the European Union, and support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and European Training Foundation (ETF).
Day One, 14 December: Key success factors to support Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems and international best practices; Panel sessions from Australia, Austria and Korea; Central Asia panel session: countries of the region will present the latest reforms affecting tools to support VET.
Day Two, 15 December: Developing successful VET programmes in Central Asia: key success factors and recommendations.
