Steffen Beitz

Biography

Steffen Beitz is the coordinator of the Informal Network of DAC Development Communicators since May 2008. Together with a Policy Analyst, he forms the secretariat of this network. He has been representing Germany’s BMZ in the Network since 2005. Prior to that he was responsible for several years for the communication of VENRO, the Association of German Development NGOs, and previously a press officer and editor with Amnesty International. A graduate from the University of Cologne and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London, he is also a freelance journalist.
