Structure of Report

The African Economic Outlook project aims to provide reliable information on economic and social development progress in Africa, as well as on short-term prospects.

 

The report consists of three main parts:

 

Part One: An assessment of the position of Africa in the world economy and, starting from the 2002/03 edition a focus on a topic of high relevance for policy makers in African countries. In 2002/03, the focus is on privatisation.

 

Part Two: Country Studies on Selected African Countries

 

Part Three: Selected Statistics on African Countries
