Fourth Roundtable on Freedom of Investment, National Security and "Strategic" Industries

The fourth Roundtable in the context of the OECD Investment Committee's project on Freedom of Investment, National Security and ‘Strategic’ Industries took place on 30 March 2007. The Roundtable participants examined two particular issues:

• the challenge of identifying ultimate beneficiary ownership and control in the case of cross-border investment; and
• procedural considerations for authorities when choosing their model of investment regulation.
