National Accounts for Non-Member Economies

Quarterly national accounts data for non-member economies (Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Russian Federation, South Africa) available in the OECD Main Economic Indicators has been split into the following four datasets to enable easier navigation of the data by users. Click the titles to access the datasets.

 

GDP by expenditure approach in constant prices

Excludes China. Data for Brazil and the Russian Federation are in indices, while data for the remainder of the countries are in national currency.  All data in national currency are at quarterly levels, except seasonally-adjusted data for South Africa which is at annual levels. 

 

GDP by expenditure approach in current prices

Only annual data is available for China.  Quarterly data for the other five countries are at quarterly levels in national currency, except seasonally-adjusted data for South Africa which is expressed as annual levels.

 

GDP by production approach in constant prices

Excludes China. Data for Brazil and the Russian Federation are in indices, while data for the remainder of the countries are in national currency.  Indicies for the Russian Federation begin in 2003 and also have 2003 as the base year.  All data are in national currency are at quarterly levels, except seasonally-adjusted data for South Africa which is at annual levels.  The countries have somewhat different industrial classifications thus overlap is limited for the industrial breakdowns that are presented.

 

GDP by production approach in current prices

Quarterly data for China are cumulative (see metadata available in the dataset).  Quarterly data for the other five countries are at quarterly levels in national currency, except seasonally-adjusted data for South Africa which is expressed as annual levels. The countries have somewhat different industrial classifications thus overlap is limited for the industrial breakdowns that are presented.
