The IDB and the Development Centre co-organised a seminar entitled Latin America and the Global Economic Crisis: What are the Prospects? It took place on 20 May at the Maison de l’Amérique latine in Paris. Mr. Alejandro Izquierdo (IDB) and Jeff Dayton-Johnson (OECD) focused the discussion on the impact of the crisis in Latin America, the challenges and risks that policymakers might face on the road ahead, and  provided some general policy principles for policymakers and international institutions.
