Regional Policy
Publications on regional policy use OECD regional data to identify patterns of regional growth, how it happens and what is needed for it to continue. These publications also measure inequality, impact of polices on regional performance, and the contribution of regions to aggregate growth.

These publications address how national and regional governments can use policy to support a regional environment that facilitates the innovation process (from research to new products and services) and thus economic growth.

Multi-level Governance
Publications on Multi-level governance explore the dimensions of relations between the multiple actors across the different sectors and various levels of government. This field deals with issues such as decentralisation and public policies in this context.

The series OECD Regions at a Glance compares major regional patterns and trends across OECD countries and diffuses the statistical tools for the analysis of regional economies.

Rural Development
OECD work on rural development has lead to a number of thematic publications, case studies and, from 2006, a series of national rural policy reviews to deepen international knowledge in this field.
