The 2004 annual meeting of the Informal Network of DAC Heads of Information and Communication was jointly organised by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and SIDA. It took place at SIDA headquarters in Stockholm, June 14-15 2004.
There were approximately 60 participants, with representation from 18 OECD Members, five non-OECD EU Member States, a number of international organisations such as the UN Millennium Campaign, UNDP, UNDPI, the EC and the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe and the NGO NCDO from the Netherlands (see participants list).
Richard Manning, DAC Chair, participated in the second day of the meeting - the first time that the DAC Chair has participated in this annual meeting.
