09/06/2008 - The OECD’s latest economic survey of Poland, to be published on Wednesday 11 June 2008, looks at such challenges as increasing labour market participation, tackling inflation and improving transport infrastructure.
The survey will be available to journalists in English on the OECD's password-protected website at 12.30 noon Paris time (10.30 GMT) for immediate release.
A Policy Brief with the main conclusions will be freely accessible in pdf format (in English and French) on the OECD’s web site at www.oecd.org/eco/surveys/poland. You are invited to include this internet link in reports on the survey.
A news conference presented by Andrew Dean, Director of OECD Economics Department’s Country Studies branch, and Waldemar Pawlak, Poland’s minister of economy, will take place at 12.30 the same day at the Ministry of Economy, Warsaw. Making the recent growth performance more sustainable.

Increasing labour mobility both across and within Polish regions.

Achieving a better macroeconomic policy mix.

Raising work incentives and economic efficiency.

Stimulating the supply of affordable housing in major cities.

Improve transport infrastructure.
