Responsible Business Forum addresses corporate governance and responsibility in the MENA region

In preparation for its meeting during the 22 November MENA-OECD Business Forum and Women Business Leaders Summit, the MENA-OECD Responsible Business Forum will meet in Amman, Jordan,  back-to-back with the Corporate Governance and Responsibility (CGR) Forum.

 

The objectives of this meeting are to

  • demonstrate the link between responsible business conduct and an investment climate that promotes sustainable social and economic development
  • identify the role of governments in providing an enabling environment for responsible business conduct
  • demonstrate the importance of governments, business and civil society working together
  • promote best practices with specific case studies

 

Speakers and participants include high-level representatitves from the ISO 26000 Organisation, Transparency Lebanon, IBLF, JIB, TMA, Schema, and the World Bank Institute.
