Responsible Business Forum addresses corporate governance and responsibility in the MENA region

In preparation for its meeting during the 22 November MENA-OECD Business Forum and Women Business Leaders Summit, the MENA-OECD Responsible Business Forum will meet in Amman, Jordan, back-to-back with the Corporate Governance and Responsibility (CGR) Forum.

The objectives of this meeting are to

demonstrate the link between responsible business conduct and an investment climate that promotes sustainable social and economic development
identify the role of governments in providing an enabling environment for responsible business conduct
demonstrate the importance of governments, business and civil society working together
promote best practices with specific case studies

Speakers and participants include high-level representatitves from the ISO 26000 Organisation, Transparency Lebanon, IBLF, JIB, TMA, Schema, and the World Bank Institute.
