This product has been withdrawn.  Data are available in Excel files via the StatLinks found in the OECD Environmental Data Compendium book (see link below).

This database - to be introduced later in 2007 - will be  presented as a series of Excel spreadsheet files and Word document files, and will present data from OECD countries on the quality of air and climate, water, land, forests, and wildlife; information on pressures on the environment from waste, energy consumption, transport, industry, agriculture, and disasters such as oil spills, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, tornadoes and typhoons; and information on efforts to manage the environment including information on environmental expenditure and international agreements.  Background data on population and population density,  GDP and its structure, and consumption expenditure and its structure are also provided.  The data is similar to that provided in the book, OECD Environmental Data Compendium 2004.
