• Senior Officer at the Economic Research and Forecasting Department at the Ministry of Finance (1971-1977)  
• Deputy Director-General of the Office for Planning and Studies at the Ministry of Finance (1977-1980)
• Member of the National Board of Statistics (1973)

• Correspondent of the International Monetary Fund in the area of Public Finances Statistics (1976)
• Member of the National Tax Reform Commission (1978)
• Member of the Commission for Reform of the Ministry of Finance (1979)
• Member of the National Consulting Council for Foreign Investments (1978-1979)
• Representative of the Ministry of Finance within the Commission for the European Integration (1979)
