Developing Partnerships for a Developed World: Foundations and Governments Learning to Work Together (Lisbon, 22-23 March 2007)

The growing contribution of foundations towards development is widely acknowledged, but with it has grown the need for better dialogue between foundations and other development actors, particularly around the implementation of the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness. This Conference aimed to launch a new dialogue process between leaders and decision-makers from governments, multilateral institutions and foundations working on development.  Co-organised by the Government of Portugal, the OECD (DAC and Development Centre) and the European Foundation Centre (EFC), this conference was hosted by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.  For more information go to conference's website: www.partnerships2007.org
