Country reviews on regulatory reform

OECD country reviews assess how countries manage the design, adoption and implementation of regulations. The reviews examine the regulatory management structures according to a unique OECD conceptual framework and provide recommendations for improving the regulatory governance and enhancing the regulatory quality specific to each country. The reviews aim at assisting governments to improve regulatory quality – that is, to reform regulations to foster competition, innovation, economic growth and meet important social objectives.

Each country review follows a multi-disciplinary approach and is made up of a series of comprehensive reports that have been carried out since 1999. These can be accessed below by clicking on the country name. Country updates on progress in regulatory policy have also been included where they have been made available.
