Q - I do not currently subscribe to any of the titles included in OECD Journal – how do I order?
A – Click here to find out about the different options for ordering.

Q – I have a current subscription.  What is changing and what action do I need to take?
A – Your subscription is being grouped together with related titles in the OECD Journal collection, and upon renewal, you will have access to a larger number of articles in a more timely fashion.  When your subscription is due for renewal, you will be offered the opportunity to subscribe to the online only version.  If you need the print for archive purposes, then a supplement is applicable, and you should indicate this requirement when renewing so that a revised invoice can be sent to you.

Q – How many articles and issues will there be each year?

A – Articles from all sections of OECD Journal will be published online as soon as they are available, of which there will be 90 per annum.  However, a section issue in print will only appear once a sufficient number of articles have been released.  Annually, there will be a total of 15 OECD Journal issues.

Q – Why is OECD Journal online plus print only available on a calendar year basis?
A – This ensures that those selecting to subscribe to the online plus print version receive a complete set of issues containing all sections.

Q – I have a current subscription to one or more of the 6 titles incorporated in the ‘OECD Journal’ and would like to maintain the integrity of my cataloguing system.  How do I do this?
A – To take full advantage of all the material available with your 2008 subscription, add the electronic ISSNs shown in bold in Table 2 above to your OPAC using the standard format www.sourceoecd.org/ISSN.

E.g.    OECD Journal: Economic Studies link is www.sourceoecd.org/1995-2856

This will provide access to a back catalogue of more than 175 issues on key topics within economic and public policy.  A single link to OECD Journal’s home page (www.sourceoecd.org/1995-2813) is another option, from where users can navigate to current and previous editions of the different sections.

Q – How will the new subscription be numbered?
A – OECD Journal itself will not be numbered – it has ISSNs purely to facilitate the ordering process.  However, each section within OECD Journal will be numbered.  Those sections which have a new ISSN will end their current numbering at the end of the 2007 volume, and start from the beginning as of the 2008 volume, whilst those whose titles and ISSNs remain unchanged will continue with their current numbering system.

E.g.

OECD Economic Studies last issue in 2007 will be No.43 Volume 2007 Issue 2.
As of 2008 the renamed OECD Journal: Economic Studies will start Volume 2008 Issue 1.

OECD Journal on Budgeting last issue in 2007 will be Volume 7 Issue 4.

As there is no name change, the first issue in 2008 will be Volume 8 Issue 1.

Q – I currently subscribe to one of the periodicals which will be included in OECD Journal – will the French edition still be published?
A – There will be no French archive issues in print, but if an article is written in French, it will be accessible on line.
