41 international representatives met in Paris to discuss the mandate of the PDG, its objectives and principles of action, its programme of work, and considered possible areas of PDG-supported field-level initiatives.
Attendees came from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Poland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The next meeting of the Steering Group will be chaired by the OECD Secretary-General and will be held on 17 October 2008.
