Under the High Patronage of His Majesty Mohammed VI of Morocco, the 2009 Ministerial Conference of the MENA-OECD Initiative took place at the highest political level to convey a clear message: MENA and OECD countries, in partnership with their business communities and citizens, are working together to put the region's economy back on a strong growth and employment track.

 

Preceding the 2009 MENA-OECD Ministerial Conference, a Business Forum and Women Business Leaders Summit, and Governance Forum took place on 22 November 2009.

 

Ministerial brief

MENA and OECD Ministers, along with representatives from business and civil society, came together at the MENA-OECD Ministerial Conference in Marrakech on 23 November 2009 to seek concrete solutions to the challenges of creating economic growth during a time of economic crisis.
