Learning Sciences and Brain Research Workshop - the Practitioners Perspective

OECD/CERI Learning Sciences and Brain Research project together held a workshop for practitioners hosted by their partners the Learning Lab Denmark in Copenhagen on 22 Febuary 2006.  The meeting brought together for the first time practitioners with neuroscientists to review and discuss the draft publication of the forthcoming publication due in Autumn of 2006 .   Our successful teacher forum has also shown that practitioners are very interested in how brain science might impact teaching and learning. This was evident at the workshop, where many opinions and ideas were generated are now being integrated into the publication.
