The Sigma Programme, a joint initiative of the EU and the OECD principally financed by the EU, in June 2008 extended its support to Azerbaijan in the framework of the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). Activities in Azerbaijan will be undertaken in accordance with this country's specific needs and priorities.

Sigma is supporting the public administration reform efforts of Azerbaijan in priority areas through various activities.
