Minor Uses
|
There is no internationally accepted definition for minor use. However, minor uses are quite often defined as:

uses of pesticides on small area cropping or against infrequest pests and
-
those which are too small to warrant sufficient return for manufacturers to develop pesticides for them.
Consistent with the OECD's 'Vision for the Future: a global approach to the regulation of agricultural pesticides,' and through the co-operation of OECD member countries working with relevant stakeholders, the OECD will facilitate:

mechanisms that enable international co-operation on minor use including work-sharing
-
technical guidance on preparation of data submissions for minor use
