Coal Information - IEA Online Database
The Coal Information database contains time series of annual coal data for OECD and non-OECD countries from 1960 onwards.
For OECD countries, data are based on submissions from national administrations to the OECD Secretariat, while for non-OECD countries data are based on national energy data of heterogeneous nature which has been converted and adjusted to fit the IEA's "Basic Energy Statistics" format.
The data tables are presented in the format very similar to those published in the book but data for all available years are provided, generally from 1960 onwards. Non-OECD data starts in 1971. For Part I, only tables that are not included in the Part II are included.
