Vienna Action Statement on Partnerships

At its 3rd Annual Meeting, in Vienna on 1-2 March 2007, the OECD LEED Forum on Partnerships and Local Governance adopted the Vienna Action Statement on Partnerships.

The Action Statement provides guidelines for government to stimulate vertical and cross-sector co-ordination around local economic and employment development issues.

This development was welcome by the LEED Directing Committee at its 50th Sessions held in Bucharest on 12-13 June 2007, which encouraged the dissemination of the guidelines in OECD member countries and beyond.
