Sylvie Didou Aupetit

Sylvie Didou Aupetit is full time  researcher at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies and Head of the UNESCO Chair on Quality Assurance, Higher Education and New providers in Latin America.  She has published and coordinated more than 15 books on three main topics: 1. Higher education policies and institutional changes, 2. Trade, internationalization and  transnational providers of tertiary education and 3. Scientific communities. She has been an invited researcher at The Institue for  Latin American Studies and Institutre of Research for and Development, France.

Over the past 20 years Sylvie has been actively involved in the evaluation of programs and policies, such as for the National Council for Population, United Nations, French Embassy at Mexico, Ford Foundation, Soros Foundation, National  Council for Science and Technology and Secretary of Education in Mexico.

Sylvie studied at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. She graduated from the Paris Sorbonne in History and Literature. She holds two doctorate degrees in: Sociology from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales and in Litterature and Linguistic from Paris Sorbonne.
