Participants to the Sector Understanding on Export Credits for Civil Aircraft (ASU): 7th Consultation with the Aviation Working Group (AWG)

On 21 November 2008, the AWG and the Participants to the Sector Understanding on Export Credits for Civil Aircraft (the ASU) met to exchange views on the implementation of the ASU which has been in force since July 2007.
The discussions focussed on
-
AWG proposals for a uniform risk-pricing model in the ASU,
-
the procedure for classifying a new aircraft model under the ASU and
-
the impact of the financial crisis on the financing of exports of civil aircraft.
These exchanges will continue.
