Tax-Benefit calculator - disclaimer

The tax-benefit calculator is based on careful modelling of policy rules in each country. While the OECD has validated these rules jointly with country experts and every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the models, it is still possible that errors did occur. Users are therefore advised to verify results against national sources in order to be certain of their results. Users should also note that tax burdens and benefit entitlements depend on a large number of socio-economic circumstances. The results are therefore subject to particular assumptions. The assumptions are designed to capture the most important characteristics of tax-benefit systems across countries, but may be less appropriate for some uses than for others.
